Hi, Well for the PC we are using a pool on the MAG. Yes the MAC are in the domain and we can issue them some machine certificate, but as the MAG can not check machine certificate on MACos machine.... The idea may be to assign user certificate, and authenticate with a Certificate Realm.

Hi, We have mainly PC and it is easy to check that these computers are "Corporate": we check a machine cetificate signed by our root CA. Now we have some Mac book that need to connect through our MAG appliances. I realy don't know how to check these machines since host checker on Mac does not provide certificate check.... but only to check a process or a file .... Any idea? Thanks

Hello, I would like to know if the MAG is able to browse and retreive user/groups from a complete Windows Domain. Let's say the top domain is DC=TOP,DC=WN,DC=CIE There are several subdomains: DC=EU,DC=TOP,DC=WN,DC=CIE DC=US,DC=TOP,DC=WN,DC=CIE DC=AS,DC=TOP,DC=WN,DC=CIE If my MAG is configured to connect on the Domain Controler (with LDAP) located at the top domain, would I be able to browse subdomains as well. From now I am not able to see the user or groups in the subdomain.... Do I have a better chance with using ActiveDirectory? Regards

Hello, I've read the admin guide, and make some tests, but I don't see the difference between: Enable Split Tunneling with allowed access to local subnet Enable Split Tunneling Both keep the default route and local routes.... Any idea? Regards

Thank you for your answer. I had another idea.... but not so sexy... The user logs in on the SA with the portal page. Then he launches the Pulse client And finally, I create 1 bookmark for the webapp with no rewritting.... that way ... when he connects it goes through the tunnel... Not automatic but shoud work as well...

Hello, My user need to access different application on my network. To simplify this I'd like to use Pulse. Then my user need to access a specific web app... and it would be great if we can automatically launch a web browser to access this web app... How can I do this? I see I can use a start session script, but when I enter "iexplore.exe" nothing happens.... (It is notpossible to deploy a bat file on the remote PC :) ) Is there another way with or without script... Thank you for you help

Hello, I'm using the last version of the Pulse client 2, and I wonder if we can disable the "automatic launch" of the Pulse client when the user starts his windows session. It' s bit annoying... It would be great if I can add a shortcut on my desktop instead, and laucnh it when I need.... Any idea? Thanks

Hi Forum, Pulse can be used on several Smartphone. I would like to know if we can use host checker to validate an Iphone or BlackBerry or even android device? Can we check for example a serial number, or something that can identify the Samrtphone as a corporate device? Regards

Hello, We are using Pulse client to connect to a SA cluster in version 7.0r1 The first auth server is a certificate server The second auth server is a LDAP server When we connect with Pulse client, it asks us to select the client certificate Then we are prompted to enter a user/password And then we are prompted a second time for a user/password Why do we have 2 prompts for authentication? We would imagine that first we have the certificate choice and then the LDAP prompt... Can you help me Thank you

Alex, Thank you for your answer. I read that nclauncher uses the IE proxy settings..... I think there is no way to solve this issue.... If I remove the proxy settings, everything is OK, but my users are not allowed to remove proxy settings :( Thanks for your help

Hi, That sounds to be the answer, but as the Pc can not establish a connection with the server that contains the pac file (because that server is not public) NClauncher tries approximatly 2 minutes to connect Actually, the idea would be that the NClauncher command line ignores IE proxy settings....

Alex, Maybe I did not explain very well the problem. Whether I'm at home or not, IE has always the proxy.pac configured When I launch nclauncher it tries to access the proxy.pac, but it is not available since it is not yet connected...

Hello, I have Internet Explorer that always uses a PAC file whether I'm at work or at home. Of course at home pac file is not available.... I'd like to know if it is possible to launch nclauncher when I'm at home without disabling the proxy configuration? Regards

Hi, I'd like to know if it is possible to use an IVE to access Web application that use Google gears. Google gears allows a client to work onlie and offline. (as the Google Agenda) The idea is that the client works through the IVE to access the application. Then the client disconnects and works on a form that was previously synchronized, and then reconnects to the IVE and push its new data to the application server. Thank you Romain
