Hi Mike, 8.0r1 does the same! The certificate authority has to be known in the box ( so install root cert) AND indeed the name you use in the Activesync setup has to be in the certificate on the server. Runyour own authority is the easiest way :-) (Externally all is done by the SSL, who can have a public cert) Brgds, Maarten

Did you try updating the Java client ? We've seen the problem before....also 99% of the time related to Java installations! Our solution...remove all Java's...and install only (!) the last one. Brgds, Maarten

Hi Todd, Make sure your steps are not too great! Advise (as I always understood from Juniper) is to do it per 1 minor (so behind the dot) at the time! Furthermore make sure you connect the console as the path you're taking will take some time (where you might have the fealing the box is doing nothing....however it's converting it's file system....which can take quote some time depending your log size) Brgds, Maarten

Hi Guys, We're busy implementing a Lync 2010 server where several users are working from an external location (without VPN). Also some of the users use the iPhone app. When opening the 'Meeting' tab in the iPhone app or the 'Conversations' tab in the Windows client an Exchange error is thrown on those clients. We found out that these tab's use the 'EWS' feature of Outlook Web Access (cq Exchange Server). This is where the SA2500 comes in....all ActiveSync traffic (towards Outlook Web Access) is send via this box using a Authorisation only URL. And above error only exists when the tick box "Allow ActiveSync Traffic Only" is on! So Lync traffic seems to be different ?? The SA cannot 'understand' this sort of traffic ? Any suggestions ? Simple turning the box off opens up the whole server, so doesn't seem to be an option ? Hopefuly somebody can help! Maarten

same issue here... We have a digicert wildcard certificate and the chain is fully correct! Only thing complaining is Pulse.. Because it's just cosmetic (and I have enough to do) I'm simply afraid to call JTAC (again...)....all they will do is ask you for logs...logs...logs....

I think your making it too difficult.....if I understand correctly you want to change the 'Username' text ? This can be done in de GUI (don't change the pages....the have a variable which is being passed from the GUI settings'. Go to Signing In --> Sing-in Pages --> click the default and change the text behind 'username' / 'password' and ' submit' Brgds, Maarten

We've upgraded several live site's (standard SA2500 units) to the 7.0r1....and should say...not too bad! Upgrade went smooth / and activating the Java client was easy. Migrating to Pulse (from NC) takes longer, but they run great next too each other (just use different roles) Some cosmetic bugs, but that's almost 'default' in a Juniper .1 Release....
