We observed this problem only when clients were connected wirelessly. The solution was to uncheck "Juniper Network Service" under the WiFi adapter properties as per the manual workaround in this article https://kb.pulsesecure.net/articles/Pulse_Secure_Article/KB43833

Hello, Where does the encrypted file is located ? I checked the "save informations" checkbox and now I'm not prompted user infos in order to login. I want to rollback this on my endpoint, as I was using a test account, but i'm unable to remove the saved credentials. It took removing all the configuration from the NPS server, restarting it, and configuring the Connection Request and Network Policies from scratch so that it would authenticate a user based on domain username and password, then we added the MFA part.

I realise this is an old post but I just wanted to add some comments on how we fixed this error message. This is the error message that we received when we hadn't turned on Remote Desktop in Windows 10. Once we did this the connection went through fine.

I had similar problem previously. I removed my Pulse Secure programs completely. I login Pulse Secure Connect via webpage, and then start Pulse Secure Client. It will install Pulse Secure Applicatoin Launcher and Pulse Secure Client again (via online). And then, the session start script will be loaded without problem.

If it helps anyone. What I ended up doing is going to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929852/guidance-for-configuring-ipv6-in-windows-for-advanced-users and then choosing the " Disable IPv6 on all tunnel interfaces". This seemed to work, and allows for IPv6 to still be priority.

I'm having the same issue.. I am the VPN admin adn RDP admin so I can make any necessary changes. The connection actually works sometimes. We have a RDSH farm.... does the connection broker need to be in the ACL? it feels like a conneciton broker issue. NLA is checked. any other tweaks?

We are facing the same issue with some of our clients. Pulse Securte Version is 9.1.4 (on macOS) and we are using L3. Hope there is some kind of fix for this. I mean you can alway tell a coleague to disable ipv6 on their client, but it's really tiresome with some of them. Kind Regards

I'm having exactly the same problem and error message. I cannot uninstall my other VPN client or the antivirus software for the installation because it's a work laptop and I won't be able to get these programs back from home (I'm in home office because of the current COVID-19 lockdown). I have tried closing the other VPN client (Sophos) and deactivating the antivirus software (Avira) for the time of the installation but that doesn't help. There must be a way to install the Pulse Secure VPN client....?
