WSAM is for TCP- and UDP-based client-initiated traffic only (eg VoIP won't work but Sharepoint will). You define applications (exe files), subnets, or servers users can access. Pulse is comparable to Network Connect and provides full L3 connectivity into the network. It works with both client- and server-initiates connections. You define access based solely by IP (network range or specific host; any application can connect to the allowed servers).

Hi, I came from a F5 Network Firepass background a few years ago to a Juniper SA2500. One of the features I really miss is the ability to connect to the VPN at the point of Windows logon. This has been hugely helpful in the cases where a users cached domain credentials are no longer valid and the only way they can login is if it's connected to the domain. Is there any way I can do this with Juniper? Thanks
