Im having the same issue with a XP client , with a sa-700 & sa-4500 unit .. I've uninstalled NC completely , even removed all registry entries , but no luck. Note the machine is part of a domain and has cached creds , but has not connected on the LAN to the domain for a while ,although via NC it connects to the domain fine. any ideas ? Thnx Ian

Subject says it all , my client has 3 sites providing DNS resilience , is it possible to add in a third DNS server for allocation by NetConect , when not using a dhcp server. ? Thanks Ian

I am doing initial setup of a SA box , and just wanted to check ping access from the Internal & External ports from the GUI , but checking 4 different SSL appliances all on codes varying from 6.5 to 7.1 and none of them have the option to ping from the external interface.... Am I missing something ? I.e. is this something that is explicitly not allowed or does this need to be enabled somewhere ? I know this is possible from the Console , but I was just interested to know about the GUI.... rgds Ian

Hi Just to clarify is it at all possible to terminate ipsec onto any SA Appliance ? E.g. for IL2/IL3 traffic separation ? e.g SA-4500-FIPS running IVE 6.5 or 7.0 ?

Hi , is it possible to install the NC client using the exe and not via the GUI when the user only has power user rights and the Juniperinstaller.msi has been installed successfully ? the official FAQ states that this is not possible , has anyone got any experience with this as the end client does not have open internet , and therefore getting to install the NC client from the GUI is difficult ( but not impossible ) Thanks Ian

Problem: presently after a user has populated they windows domain logon details they are presented with the Juniper GINA pre-poluated with the same details just enteed a moment ago which is a security concern.( from a CESG perspective ) So in essence my query to relates to the following: Is there any workaround that can be used to force the GINA client not to pre populate cached domain credentials ? Alternatively : can the GINA client be moved to load before the user enters their windows credentials and more importantly would that work aka would the user be presented with a empty logon prompts or would the GINA import the previously used cached domain details. JTAC are leading me to believe that i need to raise a RFR to get this added as a new feature , but due to where the SA series is going this is highly unlikly to occure and ill have a huge lead time. Any ideas ??
