Pardon me if this issue is already posted - wanted to get the ball rolling for assistance in case not posted already (am searching now) Junos Pulse fails to install on new Windows 7 64-bit OS. Error message indicates "Junos Pulse can only be installed on the following Windows Versions: Windows XP SP3 (32-bit) or later. Windows Vista SP1 or later. Windows 7. The Junos Pulse install window launches and appears to finish downloading the installation package but fails to install, Initial thought was that this was due to 64-bit OS or 64-bit browser version (WaterFox, IE 64-bit) Scaling back to FireFox and launching IE from the X86 folder yields same results. All security has been scaled back also on IE to allow all ActiveX to run, allow pop-ups, etc. Pulse installed with no issue on workstation with exact same setup (Win 7 64-bit, WaterFox 64-bit browser/IE 64-bit browser) As I am working remotely and cannot install Pulse the version cannot be verified yet. Will update post with version later today.

Looks like Samsung is going to be the first vendor to make it to the finish line! My company just ordered its' first run of iPads for TESTING - hoping Samsung will release patches soon to cover all models so I can start testing Androids. Thank you Samsung and Juniper for finally making a move on your own and not waiitng for Google! ThomasE66 - Was there any timeline offered? I am pushing for Android in my company over iOS but may lose due to VPN

I have a Juniper tech scheduled for on-site support soon and will hammer him with questions. If I can get this thing going I will be sure to update the group here and let you folks know what was done to get it working. Really fighting for Android but gotta admit that Apple has them beat with VPN. No answers in Google's code forums on the request and it is almost two years since request was first posted.

In response to Anyterp - Net Connect is in the roles as suggested - I get an IP address on laptops and such via Pulse...just not Android even with root access for Junos Pulse. User Nahuna in a previous post has indicated he has mulitple rooted phones working fine with L3 VPN - wondering what he has done differently to achieve an IP address assignment. My errors are same as other recent posts - get a connection to the published web links but no IP gets assigned. Do we need to be on v 7.1R2 on the Juniper? Any leads from someone that has gotten Pulse to hand out IP would be greatly appreciated (currently trying to fight FOR Android within our enterprise but losing to iPhones/iPads due to lack of easy VPN setup with Android) Thanks! tspencer

Very interested in the settings you have on your Juniper for this to work. I have a rooted tablet with Pulse but am not getting handed an IP address from our VPN. It appears that all I am getting is the portal to our published directories and not a true VPN connection. Did you have to change many settings in the Client Roles to get Pulse running properly?
