Thanks ajacob Sorry I was too vague. I actually wanted to illustrate what my scenario would result in based on the new licence scheme, not considering cluster licence at all. The upper limit of 1000 users I talked about ealier is for MAG4610. Let me clarify my senario. I want to start MAG4610 with this 1000U upper limit in a single and, after a year or two, add another MAG4610 to make a cluster. Do I have to buy a 1000U licence for the second unit, the same licence as in the first box as said in the guidelines. The user count would add up to 2000U but limited to 1000U on MAG4610 right? so feel like kinda wasting money. Or can I buy 500U licence to make a cluster to support a total of 1000U? Here, I break the rule of having the same licence in both unis in cluster, yet this is okay because the hardware limit of 1000U will prevent the support user problem in the failure of one unit from occuring that the uneven licences would otherwise cause? 500U licence can bring 500U from the failed unit to the table making 1000U.
