Unfortunately the support rep has been unable to replicate.... From the looks of things it might be due to upgrading.... If I totally remove the previous version of AVG (include scrubbing the registry) AVG2015 passes the host checker.... but with the few users that have upgraded from a previous version, they will get denied.... I did this on my own PC.... I was running 2014 (and it passed). upgraded to 2015 (fails to recognize). removed 2015 and reinstalled (still failied) Removed 2015 and all registry entries.. (some in there from AVG8, 9&10). Now a re-install of 2015 passes... -Stephen

Is anyone else havong issues with the Verisign IntermediateCA that expired yesterday? I have imported a new I-CA certificate (the one that verisign says is the proper one for my standard certificate) and deleted the old one, but now when I browse with FireFox to the server it says it can't validate the certificate. when I use a certificate checker, I only get the standard cert, I don't see the I-CA attached like I do on my other server that still has the expired one... I restarted services after changing the certs.. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks. -Stephen

I'm having the same issue and found this article. http://kb.pulsesecure.net/KB14345 Unfortunately we are running 2008r2, so it looks like we may be SOL. I've got a ticket with Juniper open, so we'll see if there has been any solutions... Hi, Does anyone have an end-user running the Norton Version provided by Comcast that works with Host Checker? It says it's 360 v3, but It 's not being recognized... went out to OESISok.com and they don't recognize it there either... I've got a case already opened, but since Juniper probably can't download the specific Comcast version, I'm not sure what they can do.. -S

Yes, I did the upgrade to 1.5.8 as soon as it was availiable and that fixed the issue for me (or so the users told me). WinXP and Win7 cleints seem to be happy.

I was told it was released last Friday and given a link to download, but it doesn't appear on the web site yet. It did fix my problem with Kaspersky for Windows workstation 6.?, but not Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

Same here.. We're runing ESAP 1.5.4 and AVGFree 9 does not work. Avast4.8 is also not working for most if not all of our clients. I went ahead and put in custom rules for AVG9, haven't downloaded aVast yet to see how I can identify that one...

I'm running 6.2 and we have some Win7 users who are fine and other who are not.. Strangly, I have a Vista-64 machine and WSAM won't install, but the guy sitting next to me with Windws7-64 can install it and it runs just fine...

Hi All, We are running a pair of SA4000 on on version 5.5 This mornign McAfee started identifying the host checker as a trojan and blocking it. Anyone else had this problem? Out test server running 6.2 doesn't have this issue, so there is something different enough about the host checker installs that McAfee is just fine with it... Anyone else have this issue?

Hi All, I'm having a strange problem when trying to print through an RDP session. It appears I have all the options set properly, but when I login from my WinXPsp3 Desktop, it will only map printers on one of my RDP sessions. (only tried two different RDP hosts right now). When I login (same rules, same user, ect.) from a Vista laptop, I get the printer comes across on both RDP hosts, so the rules in the SA have got to be correct... So, Not sure if this is a WinXP thing, or something specific to my XP desktop. We don't allow remote printing for the most part, so hard to know how many other people in out org may have the same issue. Both RDP hosts are WinXP, one that works is a standard desktop, one that doesn't is a VM-desktop. I think it has worked in the past, but not 100% sure... I get the same results on our SA4000's running 5.5r1 and SA2500 running 6.2r3.1. Anyone see this before? I'll have to break out another WinXP machine and test from there as well...

We had this same thing, and what I did was create a RDP shortcut that sends the logged in user to rdp://xxusername:3389. (in the hostname for the bookmark I put in "xx<USER>.mydomain.com". The Access control also has the username imbedded it in the same way, so the user only has access to their workstation. Then in DNS on our prodction network, I did a cname entry that points "xxusername" to the real name of their workstation. I also set it to auto launch, so as soon as they login, it pops then into the RDP session.... Works like a charm... -Stephen

Thanks. The only way we found out is that a partner tried to connect to a server that only allows v2 and it failed. Once the server allowed v1, it worked....

Hi, We are running 5.5R1 and it appears that the built in SSH client only support SSH v1. Is there a way to make it SSH v2, or to replace it with one that does? So Far, I've only investigated ClamAv, but I would be interrested if you come up with a service check for Norton or any others... For ClamAv, I look for: Process Name: ClamXavSentry File: /usr/local/clamXav/share/clamav/daily.cvd - File modified less than 14 days ago. Hi All, I am trying to expand my host checker profiles to include more virus appliations so my MAC users can login. I am not a MAC person, or have access to one, so I'm hoping someone can offer up some Virus Application Processes and Dat File paths. Hi All, I'm trying to get a VDI setup and runnign via the IVE.... The problem I have is that the client won't download and install. In the logs I see the end workstation request and supposedly receive the file, but the "install" never starts. Is there something I need to do to enable that? Can I have the IVE install the client itself instead?? Once the client is installed, I created a WSAM proflie that allows it to conenct to the rdp-like server and all that works. I just can't seem to get the cleint to auto-install... Thanks. -S
