Just in case anyone else out there is struggling with the same - check the "Security Center" service state on the affected endpoint. Made all the difference here.

6.0R8-1 w/ ESAP 1.4.5 I've got a user that certainly looks to have all the expected 'real time' protections enabled in the product but EPCheck log is claiming otherwise. ... What about a compromise? Something like ... Have HC check for a software firewall on the target (protects from the kiddies // online or offline) and if so, map the user to a role that permits Split Tunneling to the local subnet so they can print (vs a fallback role that just gets the cruel punishment of zero split tunneling). Then when your users nag you for print capabilities you can tell em "sure thing - just enable that Windows firewall and you're all set". O'course, that's assuming all your folks are Windows types.

6.0R5 here docs say ... "The IVE supports SSH versions V1 and V2 and uses the following SSH versions: OpenSSH_2.9.9p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, and OpenSSL 0x0090607f." I've got some systems inhouse that are strictly SSHv2 and the built-in client works fine for 'em.

Check out ... http://kb.pulsesecure.net/KB7896 And bear in mind, in the solution where it says 'Confg as an LDAP server' it should probably say 'Config as an LDAPS server' since ... "When changing passwords in Active Directory using LDAP, the IVE automatically switches to LDAPS, even if LDAPS is not the configured LDAP method. To support LDAPS on the Active Directory server, you must install a valid SSL certificate into the server’s personal certificate store" (sry - can't find an easy link to that, but its hidden in the online help and I assume, the admin guide somewhere) Message Edited by KB_Fan on 12-30-2008 06:51 AM

FF3 has been out officially for a month and a half and the latest FF2 patch release has the same 'blank page after login' issue. Depending on which stats you prefer, FF accounts for something like 15 - 25% of the users out there. And the sales guy told me FF was supported. So any guesses on when we'll see a fix?

I don't have a huge user base (yet) - we're just gearing up - so I'm not sure if this is a one off type client-side quirk (cl is on Vista so anything is possible) or a juniper side problem recognizing this antivirus product in general. Anyone else have trouble getting hostchecker to recognize it? Just curious. thx!

Average scenario with some web bookmarks which by default, we have set to open in a new window for users. At logoff, er.. specifically a session timeout really - it'd be great if we could automagically close all of these 'child' windows. And a line or two of javascript inserted to the logout page would make it possible if only we had a handle for each of these child windows, but without the ability to edit the home/index template... Anyone out there have success with something similar?
