One additional update, I've been able to reproduce this on a third machine, a brand new one, same issue, totally different hardware. Disabling the group policy fixes it.

Well, it has to be this reason as when I remove the policy it works again. That's no coincidence. And it did it on two different Windows 7 computers. I can easily duplicate this. I didn't open a ticket as this was just a test for us - I just wanted to see if anyone else ran into this in testing. My worry is that a Microsoft patch will end up breaking NC in the future. Were you testing on the same firmware as us?

I've tried changing our profile on the MAG to use higher encryption for ESP, and even disabled ESP and used SSL only. Nothing worked. I also uninstalled Network Connect and then reinstalled after every change. No go. It just won't work when applying Microsoft's settings, at least not for us on the version we are on.

Definitely not working. We're running 8.0R6 (build 32195) of the MAG 4610. Network Connect will not connect, just keeps retrying. This is on a totally different Windows 7 box from when I posted before. Same results. (My mistake on the version, I wasn't in the office at the time so I was guessing)

No, no load balancer. We do have the MAGs clustered, but I don't see how that would matter. The NC encryption settings are set to ESP AES128/MD5, with fallback to SSL. I'm guessing it was having issues with ESP. Is our setting too low? Did you try the list from Microsoft? I cut and pasted that list to notepad, took out the line breaks, etc. I'm going to try and test again on a different machine to see where the issue is exactly.

I tried this workaround from Microsoft on ensuring certain ciphers couldn't be used: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/security/3046015?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396#ID0EMH After I rebooted, and then tried to log into our MAG, Network Connect wouldn't connect. I disabled the policy, rebooted, and was able to get back in OK. I know we're running a fairly recent build (I think 8.0R7) on our MAG VPN/SSL device. Has anyone else tested this and can confirm?

I noticed you can indeed retrieve files on the Android by just using the web interface. The Pulse client doesn't seem to have this feature on the Android, unless I'm missing something? That's good news still, yet I don't see an upload option which is unfortunate. I suppose the big need is to retrieve not upload, so can't complain too much.

I haven't tried it on the iPhone yet. From documentation, it doesn't look like the Android client will do a full VPN at all.

So I just setup Junos Pulse on an Android for testing and I can only browse internal websites? Is this true on the iPhone as well? So the mobile client is nothing more than an SSL proxy? I was under the impression I could at least browse files? Can anyone confirm this?

We actually already have a regular cert with VeriSign. The reason we want to switch to EV is that we have tried to train our users to recognize regular certs, but it just doesn't seem to stick with them. A green bar is much simpler to identify for a novice. I agree with your issue on the pricing though, it is rather steep. Anyone out there currently using an EV cert on thier Juniper SSL?

Just curious, does the Juniper SA2000 support loading EV SSL certs from Verisign (have 6.2 OS)? If so, do you select "Apache" when generating the cert, or something else? Sorry if there's already a doc on this, I haven't had time to dig yet. If there is a doc specifically on this can someone point me to it? Thanks!

So, say I have a local subnet of 192.168.0.0/24. If my users using the IVE are located on this subnet, I would NOT want to add this subnet to the resources policy? Just add the remote networks?

I've setup the IVE in OS 6.2 R1 to detect any Comodo products and to start it up if not started. I was surprised when I exited Comodo 3 that I was still allowed login to the IVE, even with it not running! Can anyone verify this for me? The test was from a Windows Vista computer. Thanks!

I have setup split-tunneling with network connect so remote users use the local Internet while still connected to corporate resources. For some odd reason, users can not print to thier local networked printers when connected to the IVE through Network Connect. I have set "Enable Split Tunneling with route change monitor" under thier role setting, and have the local subnet and remote subnets listed in the Network Connect Access Policies and Network Connect Split Tunneling Policies. User can access the remote corporate resources just fine. Am I missing something? Can anyone give me some pointers on making this work? Thanks!
