Hi, Our SA 2000 does not go end of life until 2015, but the OS can now no longer be upgraded. So am I right in thinking that the likes of Internet Explorer 10, or a Windows 7 service pack could be incompatible with 7.0.0, and we could end up suddenly unable to support these clients? Hi, We have an SA2000 and have found that our 64 bit users (on w7) are experiencing slowness with sessions once network connect is connected. I have seen reference to a 64 bit version of NC, but the installed program is in the Program Files (x86) folder, and seems to be the same version as the 32 bit one. Hi, We are looking to provide Junos Pulse access via the SA box for our mobile users - primarily iPads. One element missing from our current setup is any method of device authentication. With our windows laptops we use host checkero to check for some bespoke policies, but we can't do that on the iPad. Is there any way of locking down access so that users can access the system via a corporate iPad but not their own iPad? Thanks Chris ... View more

Hi, We're testing the Junos Pulse app on iPads for corporate, and they want to be able to use the VPN (via our SA box) to access their shares on our Windows server. The Junos Pulse literature states "The SA Series appliances and Junos Pulse together can enable full network (Layer 3 VPN) access to corporate data and applications from both non-mobile and many highly popular mobile devices", but whilst I have configured the iPad with Pulse, I can't find any way of actually connecting to the Windows shares on our network. The only advantage Pulse seems to give me at the moment is an ability to browse our intranet. My next stage is to look at certificate authentication, but I need to get the basics right first. Hi, We use JSA SSL and our users connect to our network resources using Network Connect. We are running some instant messaging software which relies on a combination of IP subnet and MAC address to determine the location of the user, so it automatically changes to display London Office when in London, Manchester Office when in Manchester. The problem is that when people connect through Network Connect, it displays the location as Unknown, because it has a dynamically assigned MAC address on the Juniper Virtual NIC. This means that each time they re-connect they have to change the location from Unknown to Working From Home. Is there any way of either, (a) hard-coding these MAC addresses so that a particular user always gets the same MAC address, or (b) Getting a list of the MAC addresses which the SSL box holds and may assign, so that we can add them all to the IM app to recognise these, whichever they get assigned?
