I am having some problems configuring the desktop version of pulse. I have to URLs that users login on my SSL, one is the base address and the other is the address with a /admin which searches a different part of our active directory. users are able to install and connect with pulse but any admin users can not connect on their PC. I have tried to add another connection in their pulse client to the IP with the /admin on it and still no joy. Anyone run into this situation and have some pointers?

if you have setup SSO to the SSL as your LDAP username/password then you can link that in your terminal session username and password. When you create the session, add <USER> for the username and it will use the username they login with and then you can use <PASSWORD> for the variable password field.

I have been trying to figure this out. When I login to the SSL using my Active Directory name, I authenticate properly. I ran a trace and am mapping Variable userAttr.mail = "[email protected]". When I create a new meeting tho inside the IVE, I start to add all the users and I see next to my AD name that there is no email assigned. I can however search for users in my AD tree there and add them with the proper email. Is there someting I am missing to link the email with my AD account so I can see the emails too when I send the invites?

when the user is logged in, check the Active Users page to verify they are getting the correct role with the bookmarks. If they are a member of more than one role, make sure they are merging all the policies and its not being over ridden somewhere.

We had the same issues with our Linux workstations trying to connect to a terminal server. The terminal services link uses the remote desktop program on the desktop.

I am about 90% sure that January 1st will return the value of 0 to this and December 31st in a normal year would return 364 where as leap year would return 365

I would check two places. First: Check the User Realms page and select the realm you setup. Make sure you select the AD server in the servers section. Second: Check the Signing In Page and click the /* link. Make sure the real you setup is added to the signin page.

This is not a VPN issue. This is a network using WPA encryption issue. WPA processes the key during an interval and passes its data through a MIC check which is an integrety check using the temporary key responsible for rekeying. If you look at your router and see the rekey interval, I assume they are dropping right when that interval hits? I suggest you reconfigure the key and reboot the AP and see if that fixes anything if this is a widespread issue.

I had this same issue with Firefox 2 and I believe 5.0 of the IVE. Upgrading to the 6.1R2.1 release fix it in that version. I also logged in and when it hung up, press backspace to get the login page again and login and it seemed to login fine.

I am going to say that I am pretty sure you can not. I have never tried it but what would be the point of the VPN if you have them on the same subnet?

Is the screen updating and your VNC settings incorrect or does it just timeout? If you open a VNC to the workstation and something opens like a internet browser windows, can you see that window open?

I keep having problems authenticating the Outlook Plugin. My users have 3 realms with the names (Company, Company Admins, and Local Users) that use different authentication servers. When I download the plugin, I input my login information specific to my account with the address, username, password, and realm of Company but still am not allowed to login and create the meeting. Am I missing something? I do not have the option to select a realm when I login as my authentication server is selected by the address the user logs into. company.com/, company.com/admins, company.com/guests
