From admittedly only the first install I've done, only one of the two hard drives in the the MAG SM-360 appears to be in use (only one hard drive LED blinks, system message on boot says "Integrated RAID exception detected: Volume (Hdl:322) is currently in state INACTIVE/OPTIMAL, Volume (Hdl:323) is currently in state DEGRADED"). Do we have to initialise the RAID functionality somehow? Pretty sure I've got the hard drives in the correct slots i.e. the two slots on the left as you look at the rear of the 6610 chassis (with the SM-360 on the right slot as you look as the front of the chassis). They've been on for a few days so if it was creating the array itself you would have expected it to have been finished by now? ... View more

I've found Junos Pulse is installed by default for all users of a machine, can it be installed for only for the user who initiated the installation? If it has to be installed for all users on the same machine, can there at least be separate connection profiles per user? In the user account that didn't need Pulse I deleted the connection, then found it had also been deleted for the user account that DID want Pulse i.e. the connections are shared between all users on a machine! Hello all, As per the title, a customer's workstations are connecting and disconnecting from Network Connect without any issues or errors. However, if they have Windows XP's "offline files & folders" enabled, and further actions (web browsing, Windows explorer, etc) hang the workstation. With the "offline files & folders" disabled, this doesn't seem to happen. Any ideas as to why this might happen? Customer's description below: "I think I may have narrowed it down to 'offline files and folder' been set on XP. If I turn on the option for this I seem to get the problem, If I turn the setting off it seems to be fine once I close the SSL. Process: - Start up XP laptop - Once logged in offline with a standard user (not a local admin), start a wireless connection to adsl broadband - Once Internet is live, I then test windows explorer and also IE, both are fine in regard to responsiveness - I then start an SSL connection, authenticate and get the VPN tunnel started - I then access internal resources, windows explorer, email (all is fine at this point) - I then logout of the SSL connection via the URL page (but still leave the wireless connection to broadband live), I get the session has ended message and then I close the browser. Now is where the fun starts: 1) If offline files and folders are not enabled, I can open up Windows explorer and IE with no problem, machine seems fine on the Internet 2) If offline files and folders are enabled, once the SSL is closed, and I try access pretty much anything, the machine hangs as if it is still trying to access the Domain via the broadband, which it can no longer find." Hi all, We have a web resource link to the Citrix web interface in user bookmarks, and can post SSO to that page fine, so that the user goes straight in to the page where they can click on the icon link for their Desktop in the Applications box. At this point the new window comes up loading Citrix MetaFrame, then they get the Windows username/password dialog box popup. How can we get SSO to complete this as well? I used the OVF tool to convert the DTE 7.0r2 into an image that would work in VMware Workstation. However, every time I boot the virtual appliance it appears as factory default and asks me to do the standard IP address, create administrator, etc. Is this something gone wrong during OVF tool conversion, or some other setting I'm missing? Can anyone confirm the following for IVE OS v7.0 onwards? If I wanted 50 concurrent users on a high availability cluster of 2x SA4500 appliances... Option 1) 2x SA4500 and 1x SA4500-ADD-50U license for primary unit. 50 users whilst primary is active, secondary is standby. If failover to secondary unit, 50 users for 5 days? If failover not fixed and secondary still in use after 5 days, 0 users? Option 2) 2x SA4500 and 2x SA4500-ADD-50U licenses, one for each unit. 100 users whilst primary is active, secondary is standby. If failover to secondary unit, 100 users for 5 days?
