an IC6500 cluster can handle 30k concurrent users. A typical cisco switch stack can have up to 240 fe interfaces which generally support one auth\client per interface. We have a 3 member IC cluster with 20k active users without issue. There isnt so much an issue as to how many switches\ap's there are as number of auths per second.

You should be able to perform a reload and test initial settings from the Odclientadministrator.exe under initial settings, in the Juniper program files, but the user will need to be a local admin and can only be performed by the logged in user.

MAC authentication do not count against the license count, but does have a soft limits depending on your model and implementation

we use EAP-TTLS with EAP-JUAC and EAP-MSCHAPv2 with 3.1R4 and AD LDAP. We have used both 2003 and 2008 successfully. Are you using LDAP or the Native AD connections?

both options for after logon use credentials cached and obtained through the ctrl-alt-del screen. They are not old cached credentials

Rob, We had the same situation with the same response. We also filed a PR through our SE. We basically had to tell our users to look at the GUI to determine status.

Anyone know the connection properties the Odyssey client maintains with the controller on an 802.1x implementation post authentication? So once the radius component authenticates the user, does the user maintain a session with the controller or can they bounce from controller to controller on re-auths?
