Hi I appear to have a simialr issue and have just logged a case in the KB. Not sure if it will help you but we have found as short term fix if you get your users to log into Network Connect on thier mobile devices using a wired connection and then get them to log in again using the wireless connection, it may resolve the issue. However to our misfortune this apperas to be a short term fix (2-3 weeks).

We have x4 users who have recently been given Tablets PCs, running Win XP Tablet Edition and use Network Connect to establsih a VPN connection. Our users recieve a unkown publsiher message once they have signed into Network connect. This appears in between the stage of having entered their network connect credentials and before a successfull connection has been establish (Host checker stage). We first encounted this issue when users tried to log into Network connect via a wireless connection. However we found this was resolved if users logged into network connect via a wired connection first, and thereafter the issue did not occur when connecting wirelessly. Assuming that this issue was now resolved, users have now received the same error again. Once again we have had to ask users to log into network connect via wired connection and htey are now able to log into network connect via a wireless connection. Not sure what this is but I am wondering if anyone could help. Thanks
