I enabled "Persistent password caching" in the userrole. With this the user can enter his/her userid & pasword the first time and then save it for the next times.

Hello I have a problem with Single Sign-On for a web based application. The application is hosted on a server that is member of the EU-domain. In the application however users can connect from 2 different domains, the EU and the EXTERNAL domain. The user log on to the SSL VPN with there EU or EXTRANET domain account and go to the application bookmark, ut I'm unable to configure the SSO for this. When logged on with an EU account no problem, I get the application. When logged on with an EXTERNAL account, I'm getting an login screen (see attachment) Is it because the server is in the EU domain? How can I force the SSO? I assigned the "internal" and "external" realm to the sign-in policy of the https://employees.mydomain.com First the "external" then the "internal". I already changed to "internal" first and then "external"...but same outcome. In the realm configuration of the "internal" I specified - authentication policy - source ip - allow or deny users from... I specified 1 IP address (same as above that I allowed for "internal") to deny and added 0.0.0.0 to allow. First the deny and then the allow. In what kind of log do I need to look? Ken,dcvers, your test ran well, my test is still somewhere going wrong. For my "internal" realm I allow the internal subnet = I'm only getting the "internal" realm being userid+password In the settings of my "external" realm I denied the same internal subnet but when logging on to https://employees.mydomain.com from the internet I'm getting "access is not allowed, please contact your system administrator" and no possibility to enter userid,passw or token What am I doing wrong??? Ken, Kevin, I already have a working https://employees.mydomain.com with id+passw+token authentication and a https://partners.mydomain.com with id+passw authentication, that's not the issue. When an employee is working from home he needs id+passw+token = OK Now I want to give them access via the same URL (make it easier for them) at the office, but then I do not need the token as they are then connecting via there office pc. Hi all, another question...could somebody help me. This is what I want to do: login page https://enter.mydomain.com - if an internal employee needs to login from the LAN/WAN (at the office or VPN) -> authentication = AD account + password - if an external partner or employee needs to login from the internet -> authentication = AD account email attrib + password + tokencode I know how to setup the authentication servers, but have a problem with the 2-way or 3-way authentication How can I setup something like this? It's not the VideoConference itself but the web based management console. Colin, I think I have the same problem with the NTLMv2. I'm know working accesing the URL via a published IE in Citrix As I do not have a lab SA4000, I'm unable to test this first and I have to schedule an upgrade (if realy needed) Regards.

Hello, I'm trying to access a web based management suite for video conference system. This is running on a IIS web server with Windows Integrated authentication. I created the resource and the bookmark, but when I'm launching the bookmark I'm getting "The function requested is not supported" I tried to use the auto policies for the SSO (basic, NTLM) but without any luck. I enabled basic authentication on the web server. Always getting the same error. I'm need some help with the SSO. The user account (domain user) on the SSL VPN is the same as used for the application. I also attached one session logging file (maybe this cab help) Kind regards

Not much extra info in the admin log (events to log are all selected). It only logs administrator changes, adminstrator logins and license changes. I'm able to create, delete and edit bookmarks... just a simple reorder I'm unable to do.

Hello, when I try to reorder the web bookmarks in a role, I'm getting the error Failed to reorder Bookmark: <role> I've got this on all roles for the web bookmarks. In another role I have some Terminal Services bookmarks, and here I can reorder them. Is it possible to reorder web bookmarks or not? Regards, cK.

Kwabbernoot, I asked my colleague in Dubai, because they have the problem, if he could change the client config. I'm waiting on his feedback. At the time, he's using the 'Juniper DNS' de-activated and I also added an extra connection document in his notes client directly with the IP-address. This works great... but each time he starts his WSAM he has to de-activate Juniper DNS So I hope he can configure his iScala client with the FQDN and that speeds up the performance. As it is already weekend in Dubai, I will not have any update until Monday. I'll keep you posted. Already thanks for your help cK

Hello Kwabbernoot, after de-activation the Juniper DNS, performance did improve on the iScala client that is running on the local LAN. But... the remote application isn't connecting anymore (in our case we use the WSAM for a Lotus Notes connection and Citrix) When de-activated, I tried with host entries on the Juniper and on the windows client, but this isn't helping. Maybe I should have a look at the firewall... cK

Hello all, I've got an issue when users are connected to our SSL VPN SA4000. They login and WSAM starts automaticaly. I configured the WSAM for the connection to our mailservers so they can replicate there mailfiles. Now they have another application running on there LAN, called iScala. When not connected to the SSL VPN (and WSAM) performance is good. Once they connect and WSAM is started, performance is bad. I already excluded additional processes (SwfIII.exe and ScaPgm.exe) but still performance is bad. Does anyone knows what I can check more? Kind regards, cK

Thanks for the reply, I will try and test it as soon as possible. Another question I have is regarding the password. When linked to a LDAP server as authentication server, how does it work when the password is about to expire? For example we need to change our password every 60 days, we get a warning 15 days in before. Will I get this warning on the IVE?

Hello, could anyone tell me if it's possible to use the E-mail attribute in an active directory account as login userid? I do not want to use the username of the AD account because I want to use as much as possible the E-Mail of the user. This would make it a lot easier for resources and sso. If possible, what is the best way to proceed? Thanks
