Does someong have already tested this new version in production and/or lab? Are any new feature which worth to migrate quickly on this new system? I appreciate that google chrome is now a supported platform :) According to release notes, network connect is not supported on Mac OS-X 10.9. Is there any plan to support "network connect" on the newest OS-X platform? Regards, Vincent

On my SSL VPN appliance v 7.3r7, I've noticed a strange message when lauching Network connect through SSL VPN web interface (using Safari on a Mac OS-X 10.8): This application will be blocked in a future Java security update because the JAR file manifest does not contain the Permissions attribute. Please contact the Publisher for more Information. Do you know a version of Juniper SSL VPN which is not affected? Regards, Vincent

I've done some testing on a Windows 8 Enterprise preview (build 9431) with Network Connect (version 7.3r4), and, my results are not so good: - On the inirial install, Network Connect seems to work. - Without rebooting, I am able to relaunch NEtwork Connect as an admin user - After one reboot, network connect shows an error nc.windows.app.23712 - Even if I try to execute NEtwork Connect as admin, the error remain the same. Does some one have any feedback for this new Windows version? Regards, Vincent

Dear All, After upgrading from 7.1 to 7.3r4, some of my users (all on Mac OS-X) complains about not beeing able to access to our SSL VPN gateway. a ping to my SSL Gateway reports following error: > ping: sendto: Cannot allocate memory Safari shows this error when accessing to SSL VPN gateway: > The error is: 'The operation couldn't be completed. Cannot allocate memory.' (NSPOSIXErrorDomain:12) This seems to be related to a routing table completly broken (see screenshot). Do you see the same issue on your sites? The only way to solve this issue was to clear the routing table (disable/enable TCP/IP on advanced preference on Wi-Fi/Ethernet interface). Regards, Vincent

Hi, Day after days, Java seems less secure: Last Year, Java plug-in older than 1.6.0_31 and 1.7.0_2 were automatically blocked by browser (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/blocked/p80) Today, It's the turn of Java 1.7.0_10 to be desactivated (http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/625617), and, no patched version is available... These issues disable some major SSL VPN feature (JSAM, Network Connect, Meeting...). What can do Juniper to stop using Java for all these features? Regards, Vincent

Dear All, Since I've upgrade from 7.1r3 to 7.1r4, few users reported some issues on my site: - One Mac OS-X user is unable to use Network Connect (seems to be an install issue). - One Windows Vista user is unable to use Terminal Services Client (seems be an install issue). - One Linux user is unable to use Network Connect. All these issues appears on specific installation, and, are not reproductible on my lab install. Did you find silimar issue on your sites? Regards, Vincent

Network Connect works just fine on MAG: I have two MAG4610, running SA7.1r2.You just have to select Network Connect instead of Juniper Pulse for you role. I have tested a lot of clients (Mac OS-X, Windows XP, Windows 7, Ubuntu). All works as expected. Regards, Vincent

Finally, I am able to connect with IKEv2 on Windows 7 Client. I had to change something on my "Ressource profile": I had to set "Network Connect" Transport mode to "ESP AES128/SHA1" (as shown on screenshot) "ESP AES128/MD5" is not working. Now IKEv2 tunnels works on Windows 7 and Linux clients.

Hi There, I have the same problem as yours. So this makes me open a case this morning... - Strongswan IKEv2 Client is working Fine on Linux (for both EAP-MSCHAPv2 and certificate authentication) - But, I'am unable to connect with Windows 7: I've got a 13868 error on Windows 7. SSL VPN user logs shows that credentials are accepted and a IKEv2 Protocol error (IKEV2_NO_PROPOSAL_CHOSEN). For info, on linux, my ipsec.conf contains the following: # ipsec.conf - strongSwan IPsec configuration file config setup charonstart=yes plutostart=yes # Add connections here. conn %default ikelifetime=60m keylife=20m rekeymargin=3m keyingtries=1 keyexchange=ikev2 conn sslvpn leftauth=eap-mschapv2 leftid=<your username> right=<your SSL VPN IP Address used for IKEv2> rightid=%any rightauth=rsasig rightsubnet=<the subnet you want to have access> auto=add leftsourceip=%config You should add the corresponding password on ipsec.secrets file: <your username> : EAP "<your password>" You should add the corresponding ROOT CA used for the SSL VPN certificate on the /etc/ipsec.d/cacerts folder. On the SSL VPN, I use a local backend, with clear text password. Do not forget that only local auth (with clear text password option ) and Active Directory Backend are supported to do MSCHAPv2. What is the maximal throughput of the SSL VPN for Network Connect feature, globally (for all users) and locally (per user)? I use a SA6000 and I was able to do a FTP session at ~50mbit. Is this the maximal bandwidth for 1 users or for all users? Regards, Vincent.

One of my customer has a restricted Internet Access: - He has to configure a Web Proxy on his Mac Os-X 10.6 to go to the Internet. It seems that his "Network Connect Client" does not use this proxy setting to contact my SSL VPN platform (6.5)... Does someone here have similar enviroment and want to share his knowhow?
