Hi Ruud, I would contact your SE so that they can submit a FE (Feature Enhancement). I had a similar issue a while back and our SE confirmed that is was in the works and eventually was added. -John

I had the same problem with 6.2r1 and 6.2r2. Still had the same problem. I opened a case with JTAC, but just did not have the time to go thru troubleshooting with them (would not have done any good, it had worked before going to 6.2!!!). I had hoped others had the same problem and Juniper would fix it. Right now, if I have to modify multiple mappings, I remove all the mapped roles, save it and then add back the desired role mappings. It's a pain but it works. Hope it is fixed soon!

I found the solution thanks to your help. I've done a "Policy Tracing". There I saw that "Selective Rewriting" was used. The strange thing is, that only one "Selective Rewriting" policy was defined and it was not assigned to the role for owa. But somehow the OWA role used it, even it was not assigned to it. Nevertheless, I've made a new policy for "Selective Rewriting" and assigned it to the role. Afterwards it worked like it should! Thanks for the tips and the help. Hi, I have a "security" question regarding the use of internal virtual ports. Now I use for each role a separate Source IP and use this IP in the firewall so that the specific traffic can go through.. But this means I can't use multiple roles for one realm because a realm only takes use of the first Source IP Address and therefore besides the first role, all other roles are blocked and I can't use them. To solve this issue I would like to use one Source IP address for all roles used by a department. This way I can assign all the roles to the realm of the department. This means also that for one source IP address I need to allow more destination IPs and Ports in the firewall then in my original set up. My question: Is allowing more traffic for one source IP address on the firewall a security risk or can it be better spread by using more source IP addresses? I hope my question is clear, if not do not hesitate to ask. Greets.

Hi, A customer of ours has G DATA Antivirus 2008 and G DATA InternetSecurity which is also supported by the latest ESAP version (1.4.3) When he tries to make a VPN connection, he always fails the host checker, with as reason that the firewall and virusscan is not supported. He also mentioned that he has this behaviour with other customers who uses Juniper VPN. Are you aware that this is a known issue or do I overlook something? Best regards, Ruud.

I have realms with several roles where each role uses a different source IP. I noticed the following in the user guide: If an end user is mapped to multiple roles and the IVE merges roles, the IVE associates the source IP address configured for the first role in the list with the merged role. Is there really no way to use multiple source IPs in one realm when I merge roles?

Hi, We have updated our IVE from 6.2R1 to 6.4R2. Since then on most PCs Citrix sessions are timed-out after 30 minutes. The Idle timeout is set to 60 minutes. Is this a known issue? Any help or feedback is welcome. Note: Seems to be WSAM that disconnects after 30 minutes. I set the sesion timeout and idle of that role higher then 60minutes.
