Hello gmorgan,   When the chassis is initially powered on, it will turn on all blades within the case.  You may run into an issue if you power down the blade which will send a command to the chassis to power down the following slot.  In this scenario, the only way to power on the slot without a CMC is power down and up the whole chassis. ...
