I have a client using UAC via an IC6500 to secure network access. Clients are redirected to a login page served up by the UAC via an enforcing SRX. Regarding customization of the login page, can it be configured for anonymous auth, however can it promt the user to enter details which are then saved to a file? For example, the user would be prompted for their name and company. Once they enter this and click 'accept', UAC marks them as accepted.

JTech advised the way forward. On the 'sign-in policies' config in UAC i had to add 'local admin users' under the list of 'authentication realms'. I now get an additional field on the login page which lets me select whether i'm logging in as an AD user or local user.

When i try and log in to a local admin account on my ic6500 4.1, system logs show its interpreting the username as an Active Directory account. Is there a way i can specify that its a local username?

I have an SRX240 registered as a UAC enforcer with our IC6500. We have captive portal policies define which redirect a user's brower to a page on the IC6500 for login before proceeding. Next in the policy is a permit via websense - the websense giving a yay or nay to the specified URL. All this is working fine. However i'd like to know whether the interaction with Websense has any reference to the particular user or whether the SRX itself (its ip address) is the only client reference. Reason being i'd like to know whether Websense would log the original user by name or not.

We'd like to take advantage of the SRX240 ability to redirect web sessions to a captive portal. Actual authentication isnt needed. We just want to present the user with a terms & conditions page which they click to accept before proceeding. Is there a simple way to set this up on the SRX240? Would an Infranet Controller also be needed?
