I was wondering if anyone else has experienced slowness accessing internal resources while using Pulse Secure. We have been receiving complaints about slowness and determined that the network speed is tripled when connecting to the Pulse appliance inside interface compared to Pulse appliance outside interface. We have performed numerous FTP and IPERF tests that show around 300-310 Mbps internally compared to maybe 30-75 Mbps externally. We have performed the external tests from multiple offsite locations as well as our public facing switch in our datacenter. I created a support ticket in August and provided multiple logs, iperf/ftp tests, packet captures, configs, etc. I have been told that the Pulse Support Team cannot find any issues with our implementation and will report this to the DEV team. I do not know if this is normal behavior, related to the Pulse Version we are running, or maybe something is not right with our implementation. We migrated away from another VPN solution which did not exhibit this behavior and had a very similar setup. Listed below are some things we have checked. We have two PSA 5000s configured in an active/passive cluster that is running version 9.0R1 (build 63949). Any help is greatly appreicated. We have checked MTU sizes and have found no issues All interfaces are negotiated to 1000 full and no errors Bandwidth Management is not configured We have changed the transport to ESP, Encryption to AES128/SHA1, and have split tunneling disabled for the connection profile Tried multiple Pulse Secure Desktop versions
