It states the same I have found, PulseSecureFirewall.kext causes kernel panic. Now that we know I am not the only one, let's fix it, please.

Thanks for a hint. I am a subcontractor in the company where I use Pulse Secure client and it is complicated to find support contract information to be able to log a case.

Hi, anyone else seeing macOS hard crash with Pulse Secure installed? Environment: macOS 10.14.2 Pulse Secure 9.0.2 or 9.0.3 for macOS OpenVPN client installed and session configured with tun adapter (only happens with tun, not with tap). OpenVPN session running. Note, Pulse Secure session is NOT running, but PulseSecureFirewall.kext is loaded and Pulse Secure client has been started. macOS crashes with black screen and doesn't even leave usual crash report. It can be triggered by doing some activity on vtap0 adapter (LAN scan triggers macOS crash reliably). I opened support case with Apple and they were quick to point out that PulseSecureFirewall.kext may be the reason. Indeed, if I unload PulseSecureFirewall.kext, then there is no macOS crash. Have anyone else seen this? Can I somehow report this to Juniper? Thanks, Ivars
