our SA4500 had exactly the same behaviour! During the update the second node simply didn't came up anymore and our migration project isn't finished yet. Pulse obviously is refusing any kind of support for EOS hardware. We've orderd another used device for the time, yet struggle to find the appropriate updates for the upgrade path since they also seem to be removed from the download center (and we don't have them locally anymore to get from 6.3R4 to 8.1R15 again).
