Decided not to create new topic and ask here. Today i tried to cope suers.cfg from our MAG2600 (which is running 8.0R8.1) to SA700 (7.4R13.2). And i've got the following error: So it means that it's impossbile to copy users and system cfg from appliznce to aplliance if they are running different versions?

Hello. I am wondering if there any kind of 2 factor authentication in MAG2600 that comes "out of box"? I've tried to search it, but i only can find 3-rd party apps for doing this. I will appriciate any help.

But that's the point. After upgrade it will be 8.0R6.0 on MAG2600 and 7.4R13.0 on SA700. So there is no chance to export config and users in this situation?

Hi. We have Juniper MAG2600, running as primary VPN applaince and SA700 as reserve. Recommended software version for MAG2600 is 8.0R6.0 and for SA700 - 7.4R13.0. For now we are running the same software version on both devices to be able to copy users.cfg from MAG2600 to SA700 in case of trouble. If i update both devices to the latest version, will be i still able to copy configs from one to another? Regards, Andrei.

Hello! We are using MAG2600 to provide VPN access to our network. But we also have an old appliance (SA700) that we had to used in the past. I know that i can't create a cluster of 2 different hardware devices (such as MAG2600 and SA700), but i want to know it there any way to sync data between them automatically? Because for now i have to copy users and new rules from MAG2600 to SA700 manually (SA700 is still working just to have a "backup" vpn appliance in case when MAG2600 fail). Hello everyone! I've just got my new MAG2600 and it's running Current version: 7.1R1 (build 17675) I also have my old SA700 appliance and it's running Current version: 7.4R1 (build 23727) I need to migrate all settings from SA700 to MAG2600 and If i'm not mistaken, MAG2600 should have equal or higher software version before i will import any setting from SA700. As i can see here - http://www.juniper.net/support/downloads/?p=mag2600#sw The newest software build for MAG2600 is 7.4R6.0. I know that this question was asked few times before, but can i upgrade directly from 7.1R1 right to 7.4R6 missing 7.2x and 7.3x versions? I'm asking that, because i'm working with MAG2600 remotly from an other country and it will take quite a long time to fix it if something go wrong.

Hello everybody. I've just messed up with importing configuration from SA 700. First of all i had exported "Configuration" and "Users" from SA 700 and succesfully imported it into MAG2600. All was working good. But then i went into "Import/Export" and decided to export some settings from there too (such as policies and roles). But i forgot to deselect "System settings" so i've imported them into my MAG2600 and after that it stopped working. (i cant even ping it now). The problem is, that all this appliance is in another city, so i cant even connect to it via serial cable. How can i restore older settings? Or it's the only option now to reset it to the factory?

Hello. Still have the same issue. Windows 8. Using 32bit browser (was trying with firefox and ie). Java is updated. Enable/Disable - no difference.

Hi doisolutions, Both devices are running 7.4R6 (build 27757). By the way, does SA700 support "Push Config" function? Because in MAG2600 i can see such function and i can set mag2600 as a target, but i can't see such option in SA700 control panel. And whe i was trying to Push config into SA700 i've recieved the folowing resut: Message: Failed to resolve hostname: vpn2.domain.com Regards, Andrei.

You are right, there was network settings from SA700, so MAG becomes unavailable to log in remotly. And unfortunately this import caused a significant problem with the MAG VPN device (my friend from that city, where MAG is standing could not even restore default settings using serial cable). I dont know more details, but he returned it into Juniper for replacement. So i have 1 question. Can you please tell me what kind of settings i can safely export from SA700 and import into MAG2600? I need to make the same copy of SA700 by functionality, so will it be enough to import only "Configuration" and "Users" (Like it is described in this guide http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/ive/guide s/howtos/SA-to-MAG-Upgrade-Guide.pdf )?I need all user roles, realms, policies, etc. from my old SA700 device. Or i should import "Configuration", "Users" and then select all other settings from "XML Import/Export" tab except "System settings" and "Junos Pulse" ? Thank you!
