FYI, I raised a support request and it turns out not to be a bug but by design (although the wording is very misleading!). The "auditlog!via_syslog" global option only logs to a local syslog server. To log to a remote syslog server you need to select the "auditlog!via_eventd" global option. You can then configure your remote syslog server as a new alerting action and set the "Audit Events" event to point to that action.

Has anyone had joy with getting the VTM auditlog to output to a remote syslog server? I have set the global option auditlog!via_syslog=yes and also set the alerting actions to output to syslog. The "update and test" syslog works fine and an info message is logged to syslog whenever a configuration change is made, but it does not log the whole auditlog to syslog (usernames, timestamps, actions etc).

FYI Ive had confirmation that the SteelApps are now no longer SSL TPS restricted per license, they are only restricted by network throughput. Its also worth noting that the 1000 licenses dont support the Global Load Balancing and Route Health Injection features. Cheers.

Hi All, I have a number of SteelApp licenses for various deployments (1000L,1000M and 2000L). Im trying to validate the suitability of the licenses for the workloads going through each of these devices. The network throughput is pretty easy to identify, but how can I measure how many SSL Transactions Per Second the devices are processing? Thanks

Bump. Perhaps the web interface needs a bit of a revamp. There are lots of references in the web interface fo SSL parameters which are actually for used for TLS too which is a bit misleading.

Hi Mark, Thanks for your reply. I spoke to support earlier who confirmed what you have just said: Yes we are running the software version which is why it isn't present. I have since added the VLAN subinterfaces at the OS level and the Stingray device is correctly assigning the traffic IP's to the relevant VLAN. Works like a dream! Thanks

Hi there, I'm using developer edition Stingray to investigate a proof of concept, however the networking tab does not appear in admin system settings as the manual states it should. Is this a limitation of the developer edition? What I am trying to investigate is whether we can add several VLAN's to an interface and use traffic IP groups that are on those VLANs. Thanks
