I got an issue which is that there are web servers getting data from DB servers and these servers are load-balanced by virtual traffic manager. For some reaonss, I have to set DSR(Direct Server Return) on it so the servers can commuicate to each other directly. I see how to set DSR with HTTP and RTSP traffic, but I can't find it with other traffic. any idea?

Hi, Is it possible to enable rules by another script? In my case, there is these rules to be enabled when the certain rule is enabled (like cascade, one enlabed, effecting others enabled) with trafficscript, or external source like vcli, doesn't matter. any ways?

HI all, I'm trying to expand Stingray disk on vmware vSphere. as above, I did understand how to expand disk for logs (/dev/sda8) but what I really wanted to is to expand root disk size (/dev/sda5). is there any ways? or is it not changeable? and would like to know when the disk is in use of 65% like above, if it would affect the performance or something in Stingray. Thanks!

Hi all, I found that you can't see exact numbers of traffic in Historical Activity while you can in Current Activity. Is there any ways to do that? In addition, I'd like to use those number for report material such as average traffic per a month, or highest number of data sent and read. I hope that it provides these functions.

I don't get it. according to this paragraph about aptimizer for sharepoint on this page, http://www.riverbed.com/products-solutions/products/application-delivery-stingray/Stingray-Aptimizer.html#Product_Models it says, Riverbed Stingray™ Aptimizer for SharePoint software Deployed as a simple web-server extension to Microsoft SharePoint, this version speeds up a SharePoint website or intranet. It reduces browser round trips to and from the server, which lowers page load times up to 90%. doesn't it mean that aptimizer optimizes sharepoint? if not, then what is aptimizer supposed with sharepoint?

Hi, I recently got request to process POC of Aptimizer for Sharepoint. I have experience doing POC of Aptimizer for Web and measured it with HttpWatch checking response time. But since Sharepoint works differently like downloading files, not loading them on Browser, I don't know how to check it if Aptimizer works well. any tips for that? thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply. However sure I did change the setting 'log!filename' but not worked. just worked as default. (Log files are saved at /logs/vservers/Virtual Servers/ One thing on the page bothering me is the comment : "The name of the file in which to store the request logs. Appliances will ignore this . The filename can contain macros..." what does it mean by that?

I'm testing Stingray as VMware Virtual Appliance. Is it impossible to modify when and where to store log files? Look like it can't be done as there is no option for that on Request Logging in Virtual Server.
