As per the post above, the IDs are: VTM-11412 and VTM-13029. The Sales Organization tracks, evaluates, and prioritizes RFE records over time. Hello Pri aka @PriyankaNath Apologies for the delay in response! I spoke with one of our TAC representatives regarding your post and this was their response: If you are running what we call a "software install", where the traffic manager application is installed on top of the Linux distribution of your choice, you can upgrade between versions very flexibly. I'm not aware of any restrictions. You could jump straight from 9.0 to 10.4r1 (for example) in a single step without issue. The procedure can be found here: http://community.brocade.com/t5/vADC-Docs/Upgrading-Stingray-Traffic-Manager-Software/ta-p/73695 If you are running a virtual appliance, then the upgrade conversation becomes more complicated. The size of the disk was expanded in version 9.7. So in the scenario you describe on a virtual appliance, if you jumped straight from 9.4 to 10.4, the device would come up in an unsupported state. Fortunately, the process to correct for this is simple enough. Here is a quick summary: Take a hypervisor snapshot of all existing virtual appliances in the cluster. This provides a safe fallback if something unexpected happens. Take complete backups of all existing virtual appliances in the cluster. Turn up brand new virtual appliances at the desired version. (10.4r1 or whatever you've selected) Import the backups from the previous version into the new machines. There are a few more considerations, the steps above are a summary only. Hello @ChristopheH I spoke with a Brocade TAC representative regarding your request and this was their response: "It looks like this user's request is not possible. Amazon Web Services itself can turn static S3 HTML content into a web site. There is the restriction that anything dynamic, like AJAX, PHP, etc., would be prohibited, but it seems the user is already aware of that. In any case, the traffic manager is not able to tap into this capability offered directly from Amazon. To do this, the traffic manager would probably need to make reference to an Amazon Resource Name (ARN). But when building out a service inside the traffic manager, it assumes that there will be nodes. Nodes can be identified by name or IP address. A port number is also required. But I see no way of turning an S3 bucket, its contents, or an Amazon Resource Name into a node." We hope this answers your question; if you have any further questions, please let us know. Hello @yihwang I checked into this for you and received the following response: Management IP Address and Admin Server Port The traffic manager can be configured to only allow management on one specific IP address. This restricts all admin server access, SOAP management, REST API access and other control information to this IP. This setup is useful if you want to completely separate your public and private networks. It is currently only possible to restrict access to a single IPv4 address, but it does not need to be the same as the IP address your traffic manager name resolves to. If None is selected, access will not be restricted and any of the raised IP addresses can be used to manage the traffic manager. So the System > Security > Management IP Address and Admin Server Port > bindip configuration key is as close as you can get. But it does not satisfy the objective you described in bold font. Perhaps the best option would be to have a word with your Sales Engineer (SE) to see if your design objective can be met in some other way. If your SE is unable to assist, it's possible an RFE can be raised to get this request considered for future release.
