SOLUTION: Not sure this will work for everyone, but I resolved the issue for my user by assuring Internet Explorer was configured properly. Here is what we did to resolve the problem for him. First, make sure you use Internet Explorer. To make sure you are using IE, click the Windows Start button (it now looks like the Windows logo and is in the bottom left corner of the screen), then type Internet Explorer and press the Enter key. Second, uninstall all browser toolbars. Click the Windows Start button as before, then type Control Panel and press Enter . Next, open Programs & Features . Scroll through the list of programs and uninstall anything that has "Toolbar" in the name. The most common are Bing, Google Toolbar and Yahoo! toolbar but watch for others. Third, close all browser windows, and in the Control Panel open Internet Options . In the General tab click the Delete button under Browsing History , and then Delete again in the new window. Finally, under the Advanced tab, click the Reset button. Fourth, click the Windows Start button, then type: cleanmgr and press Enter . After the evaluation of disk space check all the boxes (you may have to scroll down to see them all) and click OK . The program will safely remove temporary and duplicate files on your system. Last, open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, select Pop-Up Blocker , and turn it off.
