Hello Adam,   Qualified means that the scenario has been fully tested in QA tests. Compatible means that the scenario is supported but limited testing has been performed with it.   Regarding the experience of upgrading from 8.1rX to 8.3R4 that is a rather big jump what needs to be tested varies on the features you use: - stuff like NC, SAM, HC will get upgraded on the endpoints, this means that you need to ensure Pulse Installer Service is installed, if your users do not have admin rights - There may be technical changes as to how things work in 8.3rX as opposed as they used to work in 8.1, I would recommend studying not only the release notes of 8.3rX and the what's new guides, but taking a look at the code strain documents which came before it which is 8.2rX, as some behaviour changes may have been introduced in the strain which you intend to skip - before upgrading make a list of features which are most critical and used in your environment, and examine potential changes to those with extra care   Hope this helps.   ... If there is no license which Speciffically reffers to Pulse collaboration, then chances are that none is installed.   The Licenses which enable you to have more collaboration users will have the "MTG" part in the license type i.e PSA-MTG-25U, ACCESSX600-MTG-25U etc.   If there is not MTG licenses on your appliance, or license server(special pulse secure appliance designated to lease out licenses to other appliances), then you would be limited to the defualt Collaboration user count.   If you are positive that you bought a meeting license, but it is not installed on your appliance you can open an Admin type ticket with Pulse Support and they can check if you hvae this License bought or not.   They can also help you install it on the appliance- the license will be tied to the HW ID it was purchased for though, so you cannot transfer it from one appliance to another.   Should it turn out that you do not have such a license the best bet would be to reach out to your sales contact for Pulse Secure and get one if you are interested. ... Hello DarkOlive,   Chrome OS is not listed as a supported Platform for any of the other RDP features in the newest Supported Platforms guide:   https://www.pulsesecure.net/download/techpubs/current/1038/pulse-connect-secure/pcs/8.3rx/ps-pcs-sa-8.3r3-supportedplatforms.pdf     Since the other methods do not seem to be supported at this time, I would suggest contacting your Sales contact at Pulse Secure to have a method other then Chrome OS supported.   Unofficially, you can also try to setup the access via HTML5 RDP resource profiles, and see if that works, as all that should be needed is a HTML5 compatible browser.   Hope that helps. ... Unfortunately there is not much that can be done/tested without a support case with Pulse Secure. Even then.. The Client which your contractor wants you to use is no longer supported since 31/8/2016:   https://www.pulsesecure.net/support/eol/software/pulse-secure-client   So I would strongly suggest talking to them to revisit that policy.   On a best effort basis you can try any of the above to see if this helps:   -uninstall any 3rd party software including ESET completely, then reinstall the client and see if the problem is still there, 3rd party programs prone to cause conflicts are either ones that could lock up Client components, or make use of Virtual Drivers   - Check if the adapter is still up after you terminate the connection with the Client if yes attempt to disable it using the netsh command and see if that helps   - attempt to reinstall the client with a clean boot:   https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows   - have the machine reimaged   ... Hello Ae,   You have the ports mixed up. The External Port is not used for resource access thus it also does not handle DNS resolution. The sole purpose of the external port is to serve as a connection interface for users  connecting externally to the device.   Resource access and DNS resolution is handeled by the Internal Port, therefore the DNS servers specified should be reachable via the Internal Port.   Hope that helps. ... Hello Liz,   I presume you are reffering to either Pulse Client or Network Connect, if so- both installers are stored on the VPN Box and can be retrieved and sent to you by your IT departament. You will need administrative rights to install the software by yourself unless there is a previous version of Pulse Client already installed with admin rights present on the machine.   With that said, the client software can also be distributed automatically by pretty much any software deployment tool if your local IT uses one.   I hope this helps. ... Hello Gareth,   The supported AV list depends on the ESAP plugin version, if a Particular AV is not listed for the latest ESAP version available, you can open up a support case with a screenshot of the about page of the AV and the support will be added in a future ESAP version they are released usually once per month, so depending on when you file the ticket it would either be the next version, or the one after that.   Irrespective of that the list is also being gradually updated of course, with a support case you can bring more attention to a particular product.   While you wait for the predefined check addition, you can craft a custom check policy using custom process and optionally registry/md5 checks to check if the particular AV is installed and running.   Hope that helps. ...
