I don't think the SID changes when you simply move an object. It would only change if you deleted it and readded it back. If it changed the SID, then moving it back to the original spot would still render it useless, as it would have yet another unique SID, but I moved it back and it was fine again.

Got everything set up, realms, profiles, policies, pulse connection set & components configurations - the correct profile is getting pushed down, and the authentication provider is installed to allow for an interactive windows logon. In the Juniper logs, I can see the machine coming in and it fails LDAP authentication for some reason and I get the above message. Pulse connection is set to "Automatically at user login." and in the VPN Tunnel configuration I have Interactive Logon enabled. Any ideas? PS. I can successfully authenticate and log in once at the desktop with no errors.

For an LDAP auth server, does it cache the imported groups or is each query done in real time? For example, I used AD groups tied to roles, but when that AD group moved to a different OU, it broke the authentication process. Membership results were not returned. In my LDAP preferences, I'm searching the entire OU structure, so it's not as though hit moved outside the particular OU that was being exclusively searched. Thnx

I just want to use the default sign-in */. On the Sign in policy page I have associated a realm to this. That's all I see really in the Signing In area. Over to the Sign in Pages, I didn't create anything here, just wanted to use the Default. I don't see anywhere where you assign a sign-in policy or page to an interface.

Yes, setting it up two arm..... I'll check my sign-in pages to see if they are associated with external vs. internal ports, although I don't remember seeing this. Doesn't mean I didn't miss it. Thanks for the quick reply!

Thanks spuluka good info. I have a public IP assigned to the external port and I can ping it, but I am unable to http or https to the unit.... Is there any way to tell if my http/https requests are hitting the public IP? Is there any place where I need to enable these ports to respond on the device? The external port is enabled. Thnx

What is the best way to test the LDAP/S configuration on the Juniper SSL VPN? I've configured it, but am not sure that it's working. I look in the "Admin" logs, it says nothing of any errors or query problems. However, when I try to create a user realm/role mapping - and I do a search on AD groups - nothing shows up. In the logs, nothing is shown. How can I test that it is working and see if my configured account is authenticating? Thnx

I can't seem to find this information in the software release guides, maybe I missed it somewhere. Can you upgrade directly from SA 7.1 to 8.0. MAG 4610. I want to ensure I follow the proper upgrade steps. Also, which versions are OK with regards to Heartbleed. Thanks
